PERB Selects File & ServeXpress as Electronic Filing and Service Solution

Monday, March 26, 2012
Beginning April 9, 2012, the agency and other firms will begin filing and serving documents electronically via File & Serve

We are pleased to announce that File & ServeXpress has been selected as the electronic filing and service solution for the District of Columbia Public Employee Relations Board (DC PERB) effective April 9, 2012.

To ensure your firm’s smooth transition to electronic service of documents, we have enclosed the following materials:

Please take note of this important deadline:

Your firm’s designated administrator should complete the registration process outlined in the enclosed Registration Information prior to April 9, 2012.

Why is this important?  Beginning April 9, 2012, the agency and other firms will begin filing and serving documents electronically via File & Serve.  A delay in registering could cause a delay in receiving time-sensitive case documents.

Why do I need to designate an administrator?  To ensure a smooth transition for your firm, we strongly recommend that you designate one staff person to manage the process of getting the firm and users signed up, trained, and familiarized with the agency rules.

What if my firm is already registered with File & Serve?

If your firm already has an account established with File & Serve and everyone within your firm who files and serves documents already has a user name and password, then you do not need to take any further action.  If your firm does not have an existing account, or if you need to add new File & Serve users, please refer to the enclosed Welcome Kit for instructions.
