PERB Updated Operating Status Order – March 26, 2020

As a part of the District’s response to COVID-19, also known as the coronavirus, PERB will continue to perform its functions fully remotely. Employees will telework until Monday, April 27, 2020.

Please note the following:

Hearings and Mediations

All hearings and mediations scheduled during the COVID-19 emergency response period are postponed and will be rescheduled.

Pro Se Filings

Self-represented individuals (not represented by an attorney) may file during the above dates by email at [email protected], or through US mail at PERB, 1100 4th Street SW, Suite E630, Washington, D.C. 20024. Please note that the Board accepts handwritten filings by pro se filers.

Filings

Service of initial pleadings may be completed by email. The certificate of service should indicate the email address to which the pleading was sent. Filing due dates are not affected by this notice. If a party needs an extension, please see PERB Rules.

Board Meeting

Regularly scheduled Board meetings will be held via teleconference.

Along with the rest of the District government, our agency remains open. Staff will be working remotely and continue to assist the public and respond to questions.
