The Public Employee Relations Board is accepting nominations for hearing examiners, mediators, and arbitrators. A nomination may be made by any person including the nominee. The nomination must include the following information:
- The name, occupation, residence, business address, and telephone number of the nominee.
- A resume, which includes any relevant professional memberships; and
- A statement of any association the nominee has or had, other than as a neutral, with an agency or with a labor organization that represents or seeks to represent employees of the Government of the District of Columbia.
Persons accepted as Hearing Examiners or Mediators must execute a contract with the Public Employee Relations Board. Currently, Hearing Examiners and Mediators are compensated at a rate of $800 per day.
Persons accepted as Arbitrators must provide a statement of their fees for conducting arbitration.
